Automotive field

The application of Zhongji Bearing Company's bearings in automobiles includes: wipers, shock absorbers, seats, transmissions, brakes, steering, convertible roofs, interiors, pillars, control levers, pedals, and other applications; Steering system: steering support seat, steering column, steering oil pump; Transmission system: rear output shaft, main shaft, reverse gear shaft, clutch, pump, solenoid valve, planetary gear set, fork seat, seat adjuster, height adjustment mechanism and seat frame shaft, transmission system, central pin brake system hinge, door hinge, trunk, hood hinge, automatic door closing device, engine management, water pump and oil pump, tensioner, etc.

At present, most of the wheel bearings used in small passenger cars adopt sealed double row angular contact bearings, which are filled with lubricating grease to ensure the lifelong lubrication requirements of the bearings. The lubricating grease is sealed inside the bearings through oil seals.

If the wheel hub bearings of this type of car are damaged during driving, the assembly can be replaced directly without any maintenance, so it can be said that this type of wheel bearing is maintenance free.

The automotive wheel hub bearings have now developed to the third generation: the first generation was composed of double row angular contact bearings. The second generation has a flange on the outer raceway for fixing the bearing, which can be easily fitted onto the axle and fixed with nuts. Make car maintenance easier. The third-generation wheel hub bearing unit adopts the matching of bearing unit and ABS.

Many wheel hub bearings are sealed and do not require lubrication throughout their entire service life. Other unsealed bearings, such as double row tapered roller bearings, must be lubricated with grease during installation. Due to the different dimensions of the bearing cavity, it is difficult to determine how much lubricating grease to add. The most important thing is to ensure that there is grease inside the bearings. If there is too much grease, excess grease will seep out when the bearing rotates.
