Why INA imported bearings fail and how to solve them

2024-07-08

The main task of bearing failure analysis is to identify the main factors causing the failure of INA imported bearings based on a large amount of background materials, analysis data, and failure forms, in order to propose targeted improvement measures, extend the service life of imported bearings, and avoid sudden early failure of bearings.

The vibration of bearings has a significant impact on the failure of bearings. For example, peeling, indentation, rust, cracks, wear, etc. will all be reflected in the vibration detection of INA imported bearings. Therefore, by using special overall eccentric bearing vibration measurement devices (frequency analyzers and vibration meters, etc.), the size of vibration can be measured. The detailed situation of abnormal vibration can be inferred through frequency distribution. The measured values need to be analyzed and compared in advance for each machine's measurement values due to different usage prerequisites or sensor installation positions of INA imported bearings, and the judgment scale needs to be determined.

1. Reason: Low accuracy of overall eccentric bearings;

Method: Select bearings with specified accuracy levels.

2. Reason: The spindle is bent or the housing holes are not concentric;

Method: Repair the spindle or housing.

3 reasons: The belt is too tight;

Method: Adjust the belt to ensure proper tightness.

4. Reason: Poor lubrication;

Method: Select lubricating materials of the specified brand and clean them appropriately.

5 reasons: Low assembly quality;

Method: Improve assembly quality.

6. Reason: The inner shell of the bearing runs out of rings;

Method: Replace bearings and related worn parts.

7. Excessive axial force:

Method: Clean and adjust the sealing ring gap between 0.2 and 0.3mm, correct the diameter of the impeller balance hole, and verify the static balance value.

8. Bearing damage;

Method: Replace INA bearings.
