Vibration and temperature inspection of imported bearings

1.Vibration of bearings

SKF bearing vibration is very sensitive to bearing damage, such as peeling, indentation, rust, cracks, wear, etc., which will be reflected in the vibration measurement of deep groove ball bearings. Therefore, the size of vibration can be measured by using special bearing vibration measuring devices (frequency analyzers, etc.), and the specific abnormal situation cannot be inferred through frequency analysis. The measured values vary depending on the usage conditions of the bearings or the installation position of the sensors, so it is necessary to analyze and compare the measured values of each machine in advance to determine the judgment criteria.

2. Temperature of bearings

The temperature of SKF bearings can generally be inferred from the temperature outside the bearing chamber. If the temperature of the outer ring of the bearing can be directly measured using an oil hole, it is more suitable

Usually, the temperature of deep groove ball bearings gradually increases as the bearing operates, and reaches a stable state after 1-2 hours. The normal temperature of bearings varies depending on the heat capacity, heat dissipation, speed, and load of the machine. If the lubrication and installation parts are suitable, the bearing temperature will suddenly rise, and SKF bearings will experience abnormal high temperatures. At this time, the operation must be stopped and necessary preventive measures must be taken.

The use of thermal sensors can monitor the working temperature of bearings at any time, and automatically alarm or stop to prevent shaft accidents when the temperature exceeds the specified value.

High temperature often indicates that the bearing is in abnormal condition. High temperatures are also harmful to lubricants in bearings. Sometimes overheating of deep groove ball bearings can be attributed to the lubricant used in the bearings. If the bearing is continuously transferred at a temperature exceeding 125 ℃ for a long time, the bearing life will be reduced. The causes of high temperature bearings include insufficient or excessive lubrication, as well as lubricants. It contains impurities, excessive load, damaged bearings, insufficient clearance, and high friction caused by oil seals.

Therefore, continuous monitoring of the temperature of deep groove ball bearings is necessary, whether it is measuring the bearing itself or other important parts. If the operating conditions remain unchanged, any temperature change can indicate that a malfunction has occurred.

Regular measurement of bearing temperature can be aided by thermometers, such as digital thermometers, which can accurately measure bearing temperature.

The importance of bearings means that when they are damaged, it will cause equipment shutdown, so it is best to install temperature detectors for such deep groove ball bearings.

Under normal circumstances, SKF bearings will experience a natural temperature rise that lasts for one or two days after initial lubrication or re lubrication.
